The summer is nearly over here in New Zealand… BUT that doesn’t mean people won’t be travelling and it doesn’t always mean the end of allergies and intolerances. Before you go, remember to make sure you are fully prepared for your holidays by taking an intolerance test. Check out Test Your Intolerance’s top three tips for dealing with your intolerances whilst you are away:
Different cuisine, different symptoms
On your travels, you are undoubtedly going to run into different foods and different intolerance symptoms. Before you set off, make sure you have done your reading and learning, as this is the culture that you will have to embrace in order to cope with your allergies and intolerances. If you have done your research and taken an intolerance test, then you cannot expect any great surprises as you will be prepared for anything that will come your way.
Keep your allergies and intolerances close
By this, we don’t mean that you should try and keep your allergies and intolerances close by enticing a reaction, but we mean that you should know every little detail about them. You don’t want to travel with any allergies and intolerances if you don’t know what will set them off. To discover what items might cause your symptoms, order an intolerance test here. Preparation is key, and knowing exactly how you can deal with certain reactions and certain foods is an important part of how you want to live your life.
Our recommendation
We recommend that you order a food intolerance test before you go on your travels. It is one of the best things you can do when going on holiday, as it also means that you are able to prepare for any circumstances which may arise whilst you are away. Remember to ring ahead to the place where you will be travelling to, and let them know about your allergies and intolerances beforehand! They should be able to make plans for your arrival, putting your mind at rest.
Have a great holiday from Test Your Intolerance.
